CPG and IBM Mainframe Operating Systems
Since Release 2.0 (the current release being 2.6) CPG supports the features offered by ESA operating systems. Only a compilation is necessary to enable your applications to run above the 16 MB line.

If your applications are macro level or command level today, an entry in the program's header will be sufficient to get an ESA application.

If you want to migrate your applications from z/VSE to z/OS (or from z/OS back to z/VSE), only a compilation is necessary. And the right license and the right Central Routine Library from our side.

The CPG you can get from our partners in the UK has been 'frozen' in the early eighties at version 1.2. We have continued to develop CPG to an up-to-date application development environment.

Our current development focusses on tools and connectors, that allow the development of cross platform applications - with mainframe programming skills. (CPG5, bulletin25, bulletin28)
